Dear John McCain

Dear John McCain,

You have been emailing me frequently as of late. While I share the same concerns you express in this email, I cannot help but respond that but for you we may not be in the position we find ourselves in with a Marxist sitting in the White House and many Marxists in Congress.

For too long politicians in the Republican Party have chosen to "get along with" and work with Democrats, liberals and Marxists. All the while these Democrats, liberals and Marxists have sought to demonize, marginalize and destroy Republicans. Democrats, liberals and Marxists control schools and unions in America. And too many "republican"  politicians prefer to "get along with" and work with Democrats, liberals and Marxists in order to reach "consensus" in legislation and policy.

These leftists/statist forces need to be DEFEATED!! We are losing our country and freedoms to the desires of Marxists! And frankly, sir, Conservatives or Republicans will not defeat these forces when the likes of yourself and Bob Dole - 70 year-old men - run as our candidates for President! We cannot defeat the leftists with politicians such as yourself and Bob Dole putting your egos and "paid dues" ahead of the National interests.

I could care less that you feel you were deserving of the Presidency for all the years of service to your country! Unfortunately, every time the Democrats put forward candidates for President that are (relatively) young, (relatively) good looking and dynamic, Republicans counter with some old curmudgeon who can barely walk much less inspire and arouse the electorate. Ronald Reagan did it, but you, sir, are no Ronald Reagan! Ronald Reagan was at least dynamic! Ronald Reagan had a vision and a goal and drive to achieve it! What have you brought us, Sen. McCain? McCain-Feingold campaign finance laws? Did your campaign finance laws help or hinder you in your Presidential candidacy? Barack Obama chose to not accept public funds and was allowed to spend UNLIMITED amounts of money on his Presidential campaign! Yes....thanks for that McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance law!!

Next you decided you wanted to "reform" our immigration laws. To this day, Americans (those of us that are here "legally") wonder - What exactly is it that is wrong with our immigration system that is broken? Other than the fact that the Federal Government does little to nothing to stop people entering our country illegally, find them and expel them! This appears to me to be a problem of the Federal Government needing "reform". That would be my solution! "Reform" the Federal Government to get it to actually enforce THE LAWs already on the books!! Your solution? Simply allow the people that have entered our country illegally some "mechanism" (euphemism) for them to "normalize" their "status" and remain here!

There are only 2 reasons I voted for you in the last Presidential Election - That you were NOT Barack Obama and Sarah Palin.

Thank you for introducing America to Sarah Palin. For my purposes, that's about all you've given me as a Conservative and a Republican. For the simple fact is - you gave us a Barack Obama Presidency.

So, Sen. McCain. Please! GO AWAY! Conservatives in America want to retire all the RINO's and elect CONSERVATIVES to offices! We have a country to save, no thanks to you.

Enjoy your retirement.

My Friends,

Today, voters across the country will head to the polls to cast their votes and voice their opinions. Experts are looking to tonight's election results as referendums on the public's approval of our current Democratic majorities in Congress.

And if the outcomes of the elections are what I suspect, they will send a message that voters are clearly frustrated with our current Democratic leadership in Washington, D.C.

Americans are angry and have every reason to be. Under the Democrats' leadership, there is a looming threat of government-run health care; our national debt has soared to over $9 trillion, and we have yet to see the jobs President Obama promised his trillion-dollar stimulus package would create.

But my friend, the good news is that in less than one year we will have the opportunity to elect a new majority to restore fiscal responsibility in Washington and grow our economy. I hope to be part of this majority if I am reelected to the United States Senate, and today I am asking for your continued support.

Over the past year, I have traveled around Arizona and the country listening to your concerns. I know that our government is spending at an unprecedented rate and that Democrats have shut out conservative voices on health care reform.

I want you to know that I am fighting to address these very issues and to continue my fight, I need your support. Your contribution of any amount today will strengthen my reelection bid to continue my service in the Senate.

As Americans we are facing some of the most challenging times in the history of our country. To meet these challenges, I plan to work with my fellow representatives in Washington who share our values of cutting deficit spending, creating jobs and keeping our nation secure.

I look forward to continuing my fight for fiscal responsibility, real health care reform and a strong national defense and I want to continue my service to the people of Arizona and this nation. That's why I ask that you join my reelection campaign today with a generous contribution today.

Sincerely,

John McCain

P.S. You have generously supported me in my past efforts and I am turning to you once again. Please follow this link right away to give $25, $50, $100, $250 or more to help my reelection campaign.
