California Judges - 4. California Citizens - 5,661,583

Right on cue, here come the cry babies.

Like most 2 year olds that want that toy or piece of candy and are told "No" by a parent, thousands of gays took to the streets in California to, uh, "protest" the decision of California voters to affirm that marriage is between one man and one woman. The babies blocked traffic in major intersections of already busy streets, shouted at people, banged on car hoods and other mahem.

In Westwood, the babies found a particular target - the well-known, large Mormon Church. There they made their stand - shouting and screaming at the top of their lungs about some "injustice" that had just been done to them. Mormons, in particular, were the target of their rage because the Mormon church and members gave money to support Proposition 8.

The babies shouted things like, "We're going to fight hate with hate!!"

I ask you. Can anyone out there - ANYONE - find me similar television footage showing Mormons or any other California citizens on the streets and "in the face" of gays or lesbians demonstrating their "hate" towards gays and lesbians?? Can anyone out there find for me any newspaper reports of Mormons or other California citizens expressing "hate" towards gays and lesbians?

I'll pause here a moment for someone to find something.   Mmmmm.......hhmmmmm..... tum, tum, tum, dum dee dee............................Well??  Anything??  No??  But. But....how can that be??   Nothing?? SURELY there MUST be some report of "hate" against gays and lesbians by Mormons in particular and Californians in general! Surely you aren't telling me these people don't "hate" gays and lesbians!!!!

Frankly, I see "hate" only on one side of this argument. From the loony left. Californians only reaffirmed the same vote we made a few years ago by 61% of voters. THAT vote was "vacated" by the California Supreme Court - in their "infinite" wisdom - by a 4-3 decision. The Supremes "found" tucked away in our California Constitution the "right" for gays and lesbians to marry. I don't know WHERE they found it, but they found it. It probably isn't there, but that doesn't stop leftist justices. They make up the law as they go along.

The final tally on an election night with heavy liberal turnout??: 52.4% of Californians voted to affirm the definition of marriage as between one man and one woman. 5,661,583 citizens vs 4 judges. Now the judges won't have to look high and low in the California Constitution to find a "right" for gays and lesbians to marry. Citizens have just given our Supremes a democratic order - THIS is what we want as the law of the land! Anything outside of this narrow definition is NOT marriage constitutional.

Here's a simple question to ask of gays and lesbians who "get in your face" about your vote on Proposition 8 and the "right" to gay marriage in general: Ask them how 12 year-olds voted? Any polling data on the 12 year-old vote?? They may answer, "12 year-olds can't vote." Ask them, "Why not?". "Because you have to be 18 to vote." "Why is that?", you ask them. "Because it's in the Constitution of the United States." The supreme law of the land? "And who decides what goes into the Constitution?" "Uh..........the People??"

DUH!!!

Game and match...............
